WikiLeaks Inspired “New Media Haven” Proposal Passes In Icelandic Parliament

The WikiLeaks advised proposal to build an international “new media haven” in Iceland, with the world’s strongest press and whistleblower protection laws, and a “Nobel” prize for for Freedom of Expression, has unanimously passed the Icelandic Parliament.

Twelve members of parliament were not present.(WHAT A F*CKING SUPRISE,….COULD IT BE THE ICELANDIC PARLIMENT WAS ACTUALLY A NON-REPRESENTATIVE DICTATORSHIP?? ..AND THESE THE LAST RATS DESERTING A SINKING SHIP? .. COULD THIS BE THE CASE IN THE USA AND UK AND AUSTRALIA ETC..ETC…?)

THE PREVIOUS ICELANDIC GOVERNMENT (ELECTED DICTATORSHIP) WHERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SELL THIER CITIZENS INTO DEBT SLAVERY.LUCKILY REAL DIRECT DEMOCRACY LIVES IN ICELAND AND THE PEOPLE SAID NO!!!
No matter what reasonable and respected voices had to say on the matter. The government opposed the idea of a direct democratic decision.
Until the last minute the government had tried to discourage the voters from voting. The Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance both said they would not participate in the referendum. They saw it as a “waste of money” and a “farce”!!! … (and paying for other peoples debts is non-farcical and  good value for money?!? maybe its the Icelandic government that is a farce and a waste of money! IMHO its certainly is in the UK and USA)

The Icelandic referendum, the voice of the people against the blackmailing power of the international financial elites might now have become precedent for other countries in similar situations.
What the bankers seem to fear above all things is a direct democracy in financial matters.

And no doubt that´s quite a reasonable fear, for such a democracy would lead to more and more people getting informed about financial matters and the money-creation process itself.
The knowledge about this process coupled with the instruments of a direct democracy would lead eventually and without any doubt to a monetary reform and a loss of power for the international bankers.

Two changes were made to the proposal from its original form as per the opinion of the parliament’s general affairs committee [http://www.althingi.is/altext/138/s/1329.html ]. The first of these altered slightly the wording of the first paragraph so as to widen the arena for research. The second of these added two new items to the list of tasks for the government:
 
   – That the government should perform a detailed analysis, especially with respect to operational security, for the prospect of operating data centers in Iceland.
 
   – That the government should organize an international conference in Iceland regarding the changes to the legal environment being caused by expansion of cloud computing, data havens, and the judicial state of the Internet.

An Interpol notice on Tuesday said Einarsson was wanted on charges of counterfeiting, forgery and fraud.

Ingolfur Helgason, the former Director of Kaupthing Iceland, and Steingrimur Karason, former CEO of the bank’s risk management department, were both arrested today upon arriving back in Iceland. They went straight to interrogation with the Special Prosecutor and are being held in police cells.

The Bank continued his operations as a state bank, but had to close years after. Once retired, everytime Jackson was asked what  was his biggest achievement as president he answered: “I killed the Bank”.

A Dutch festival of Hypocracy…but they call it democracy

The Dutch have just had a general election. As a freelancer with many skills and experiences,that works and travels in the EU, I was invited to work and be part of this setup. You will of seen me on Dutch TV ,in the background. I have a residency in Holland,and other countries, and pay my taxes there. BUT I AM NOT ALLOWED TO VOTE!!!!

The election event I was helping setup was the RTL(TV station) coverage of the event. It was called the “Festival of Democracy”. I happened to notice, of the foreign but “Dutch taxpaying” freelancers that worked on this event ,ONLY 1 in 5 hand a vote!! I happened to mention that “Taxation without Representation” has caused a few problems for governments in the past ,including rights of legitimacy! I also pointed out that DEMOCRACY came from ATHENS NOT SPARTA!!!

Athenians believed in democracy ,democracy ment that ALL people had the right to have thier say, and ALL people had the right to vote on ALL the issues. This is the democracy that Athenians fought and died for, today we would call this DIRECT DEMOCRACY!! WHO did the Athenians fight and what system did they oppose?

The Athenians fought Sparta and the RULE OF THE 30 TYRANTS!!

The rule of the 30 tyrants was based on a select group that was elligable to rule (political parties) . There where another subset of people that where elligable to vote(the electorate ,NOT THE PEOPLE)! Mainly the rich and wealthy and those invested in the status quo.

A particularly stupid Netherlander , and probable Geert Wilders supportter ,mentioned that if I had such a problem with Dutch democracy why don’t I leave! I pointed out , 65 years ago my grandfather was here shooting people like Geert Wilders and getting medals for IT!!! and HE did NOT ASK TO DO IT!!! BUT THAT is the ONLY REASON THAT DUTCH PEOPLE CAN HAVE THIER FAKE FESTIVAL OF DEMOCRACY TODAY and its is the only reason why the Dutch can still speak Dutch and even have a nation state. POLITICALLY

I trust NO political party! I support the SNP because I believe in Scottish Indepandance PASSIONATELY. I think Alex Salmond is a good guy when compared to other politions , BUT that is NOT saying much!

I DO TRUST THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE . I have seen it to be more reliable and less corrupt than the will of the government, as 2 BLAIR ILLEGAL WARS and 2 government protected paedophile rings, can show.They still continue today with the governments blessing ,BUT NOT THE PEOPLES!

POST INDEPENDANCE I WANT DIRECT DEMOCRACY FOR SCOTLAND

“Representative democracy” or “elected Dictatorship” has been a TOTAL DISASTER. It gives us representatives that DESIRE POWER and are open to blackmail and bribery. It has given us a government that rapes and murders our children and covers up for it and also has sent trained killers off to other peoples countries to rape and murder and torture the locals. This does NOT make US safe and YOU can be sure the government is only spending money on protecting ,the government. Just like in the days of MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction , that’s mutually assured destruction for YOU and ME ,the government had nice nuclear bunkers to live in!)

THE SOLUTION IS DIRECT DEMOCRACY

Direct democracy, classically termed pure democracy, comprises a form of democracy and theory of civics wherein sovereignty is lodged in the assembly of all citizens who choose to participate. Depending on the particular system, this assembly might pass executive motions, make laws, elect or dismiss officials, and conduct trials. Direct democracy stands in contrast to representative democracy, (UK and USA systems) where sovereignty is exercised by a subset of the people, usually on the basis of election ,i.e. a choice of Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum, OR what I call an ELECTED DICTATORSHIP. If it is NOT a dictatorship YOU will be able to tell me what else YOU get to vote on otherv than YOUR CHOICE OF DICTATOR?.

If anyone wants to say ,I’m a dreamer ,or it’ll never work in a real world. FYI Switzerland has been a direct democray for a very long time! Would anyone concider it to be ,a disfunctional state, or an inefficient state or a basket case state or a laughing stock state? It has better living standards than we do, it has less corruption than we do, it has less crime than we do, it is involved in less illegal wars than we are…should I go on?!

Officially the Swiss Confederation (Confoederatio Helvetica in Latin, hence its ISO country codes CH and CHE), is a federal republic consisting of 26 cantons. its a Federal state, with parliamentary system and direct democracy .

SO HOW DO WE BECOME A DIRECT DEMOCRACY?

SIMPLE!

We remove the executive powers from the “representative parliment” (OR the ELECTED DICTATORSHIP as I call it) and give them to the citizens. We just have to decide what the line is that the citizen population has to cross to make a law. i.e. 50,000 citizens needed to get a topic discussed and at least 50% of the population voting on an issue with at least a 50% approval rate. ALSO ANY LAW can be repealed, any polition removed from power ,any inquiry started, by the citizen executive(the people) at any time the people choose!

If we want to keep a “talking shop” parliment , a parliment like we have today except it has NO EXECUTIVE POWERS, we can. BUT I would also suggest we have a “NONE OF THE ABOVE” option , or the anarchist vote as I call it. This “none of the above “would also be included in the Preportional Representation vote. SO if 20% of the population want “none of the above” ,then we keep 20% of the seats EMPTY, thus saving on wages and expenses! This also means that if it becomes obvious that we do not need a parliament ,then it is an easy and NATURAL process to disband the parliament via the voting process.

This system of DIRECT DEMOCRACY will do away with the strangle hold that the POLITICAL PARTY SYSTEM has on our “democracy” and the institutionalised corruption that it brings. Can YOU HONESTLY tell the difference between New Labour and the Tory party today?

I WANT AN OPEN REFERENDUM ON EU MEMBERSHIP

As we will be a “new” European country we may have to re-apply for membership anyway , and so would England, as the UK will no longer exist.I am torn between a Norway example OR a Switzerland example as to what way Scotland should go in regards to EU membership. An open and informed debat and the will of the people will decide what way we go.

Bigger is better!

Unionists say that Scotland is served better being part of a bigger UK economy. Apart from this being RUBBISH , Scotland is being DRAINED by the UK economy!!! Then why are the unionists not arguing that the UK government should be disbanded and we hand economic control and sovereignty to the EU?

UK Subsidizes Scotland

Unionists claim Scotland gets subsidized by England and the UK. This ,of coarse is a LIE , and the TRUTH is Scotland subsidizes the UK.

“LABOUR ministers were warned in a secret Whitehall dossier 30 years ago of the powerful case for Scotland becoming independent with booming oil revenues, but the information was kept confidential by Harold Wilson’s government to keep nationalism at bay.

The dossier, most of which was written by a leading government economist in 1974 and 1975, sets out how Scotland would have had one of the strongest currencies in Europe, attracting international capital into its banks in the same way as Switzerland.

It argued Scotland could quickly become one of Europe’s strongest economies with “embarrassingly” large tax surpluses.”

Unionism is GOOD!

The last UNION in Europe ended in disaster. It was the unification of Germany and Austria , do I need to go on?

Small is BAD!

There have been many small nations that have survived very well in Europe Switzerland and Luxembourg for example. Both have better standards of living than Scotland OR the UK.

New Countries are a “laughing stock”!

There have been many “new” nations appearing in Europe. The Czech Republic , Slovakia , Slovenia , Estonia , Latvia etc etc . Do ANY of these countries think they have made a bid mistake? NO!!!!

It is normal to give up national sovereignty for economic benefit!

Unionists should be able to tell a Norwegian or a Dutchman or a Finn that they too have made a huge mistake keeping THEIR national sovereignty and economy,instead of joining the bigger German ,or Russian economies! I think the word QUISLING might pop up in the conversation!

Unionism is just a long list of LIES and CORRUPTION. Some are deluded and long for the Days of Empire when the Union Jack flew over the world. SORRY FOLKS ITS THE 21 ST CENTURY ,stop living in the past .So for me a “Direct Democracy Scotland” is what I want to see POST Independence . It will be easy to do and we would be a shining example for other modern “democracies”.
