Athens is the home of democracy.It fought the Spartans and thier rule of the 30 tyrants to setup a form of democracy that is still a shining example to us all.
Today politions talk Athens but act Spartan.
In fact its always been this way. Politions love power and social stability and have always admired the Spartan social model BUT they always talk about Athenian democracy ,Sparta’s arch enemy.
The Thirty Tyrants (Greek: οἱ τριάκοντα τύραννοι) were a pro-Spartan oligarchy installed in Athens after its defeat in the Peloponnesian War in 404 BC. Contemporary Athenians referred to them simply as “the oligarchy” or “the Thirty” (οἱ Τριάκοντα); the expression “Thirty Tyrants” is due to later historians.[1] Its two leading members were Critias and Theramenes.
The Thirty severely reduced the rights of Athenian citizens. Imposing a limit on the number of citizens allowed to vote (limiting the franchise for example to the wealthiest citizens) was a standard move on the part of wealthy people who objected to being bossed around by the votes of the “rabble” in a broad-based democracy where all free adult males could vote. Participation in legal functions — which had previously been open to all Athenians — was restricted by the 30 to a select group of 500 persons. Only 3,000 Athenians were granted the right to carry weapons or receive a jury trial.
The Thirty Tyrants forced many Athenians into exile and threw their leaders into jail.

The Athenian social democracy was a Direct Democracy or Pure Democracy ,all citizens are allowed to voice thier opinion and vote on thier choice. The seat of power is an open forum where ANY CITIZEN can speak and EVERY CITIZEN gets a vote on EVERY POLITICAL DECISION,there are NO POLITICAL PARTIES as such.The ONLY DEMOCRACY I know of is Switzerland.All other nations social models are Spartan,basically there is a rule of 30 tyrants that the population get to choose,from a small pre-selected group. ICELAND
The Icelandic government was quite happy to force the Icelandic people to pay the debts owed by private bankers,thus representing banking interests British and Dutch banking interests. Of course the Icelandic people where NOT happy ,thankfully Iceland still has some good old fashioned Athenian Direct Democracy and the Icelandic Peoples Executive (The Icelandic population) called for a referendum!
IN THE UK WE STILL HAVE THE RULE OF THE 30 TYRANTS , NO REFERENDUM FOR US!!! The UK government is determined to represent banking interests.
The (Icelandic) referendum for or against taking over the Ice-save debts unconditionally by the Icelandic tax-payer has brought a clear “No” vote with 93.2% of those who voted, while participation of voters in the referendum was at 62,7%.
Publicly both the British government, as well as the IMF, seem to have mellowed in their rhetoric and ready for a compromise in their demands.
THE ICELANDIC GOVERNMENTS REACTION? The reaction of 30 Tyrants
In time there eventually were a few other voices to be heard on Icelandic media, but the government itself didn´t budge. No matter what reasonable and respected voices had to say on the matter. The government opposed the idea of a direct democratic decision.
Until the last minute the government had tried to discourage the voters from voting. The Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance both said they would not participate in the referendum. They saw it as a “waste of money” and a “farce”.
This disregard for the very people who had put them into office angered just about everybody who is the slightest bit interested in politics here.
WHY SUCH A RESPONSE FROM THE ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES?
The Icelandic referendum, the voice of the people against the blackmailing power of the international financial elites might now have become precedent for other countries in similar situations.
What the bankers seem to fear above all things is a direct democracy in financial matters.
And no doubt that´s quite a reasonable fear, for such a democracy would lead to more and more people getting informed about financial matters and the money-creation process itself.
The knowledge about this process coupled with the instruments of a direct democracy would lead eventually and without any doubt to a monetary reform and a loss of power for the international bankers.

Addressing his Bolivian counterpart, he said: “Evo, we know this battle is hard, you can always count on our support for that battle here, in the United Nations, in the Organisation of American States, and in the world to defend the coca farmers, who are being demonised.”
When the cocaine business went south (geographically as well as metaphorically), Coke pulled the cocaine out of the formula – although they still use coca leaves today to flavour the drink. In fact, they own a pharmaceutical company called Stepan Chemicals in Chicago, whose primary purpose is to take the cocaine out of the coca.

The most interesting and telling thing about the banking system, is, every country in Europe, India, Australia? USA et al, goes along with it.
In my life I have never heard it questioned by any political party.
It was never a feature in my education. In fact I grew up in total ignorance of reality.
Even now, I struggle to understand why none of our leaders have ever questioned it. The only reason I can suggest is fear. They must all have had a warning that the subject is taboo and they have all observed the rule.
The media is just as guilty. I would be ashamed to work for Murdoch and take part in the dreadful deceipt perpetrated by Sky News on the British Public. Shame on all of you. Not a true journalist amongst you.

Government attracts those that are attracted to power ,the LAST thing a polition will do is give up power,it does not matter which party,…thier solution is ALWAYS ,MORE POWER. They will just pass a new law ,thus creating a new criminal class,thus increasing crime, the more you impose law the more you increase chaos,its the 2nd law of thermodynamics ignore it at your peril.. How did you end up in France and do you get the chance to get back to the UK at all? I spend a lot of time outside Scotland and the UK myself.
Yet again I have to say I am in complete agreement. I find most people do not care about politics ,which is actually very healthy.It shows most people have no interest in running other peoples lives. BUT it does become a problem when the institutions setup by these busybodies ,megalomaniacs and crooks that do want to control other peoples lives either for “thier own good”(the other people) or thier own good (the person making the rules) and it is the intentional “political ignorance” of the people(the masses) that makes this possible.Thanks to things like cencorship. I think if people REALLY knew what was going on ,I do not know if they would be more political BUT they definately would NOT tolerate politions!!
Trying to get people to do something about it, is difficult BUT just like any change in momentum it takes most energy to “get the ball rolling” BUT once its rolling momentum takes the “compliant” majority with it.
SO at the end of the day I am still optomistic about humanities goodness and future ,most of the evils of humanity are done by a very few evil people and a lot of ignorant and lazy ones .So my mantra is ,Yesterdays nut is tomorrows great oak ,Truth at first is ridiculed ,then attacked then accepted as self evident.

What do you make of the Lib-Dem thing with the polls. They are never that wrong. Something was going on. All these guys have had their ‘We have ways of putting you on an a flight to Russia’ talk. Hey ,thank you for your input as well and we seem to have very similar stories. I got into blogging because I was on the Scotsman and the Herald newspaper websites posting comments like mad. As a Scottish nationalist ,usually fighting the pro-unionist bias in the MSM.It was the impending financial crisis that really got me, as I was working a contract for the financial industry at the time, and even myself who has no financial background could see the financial ABYSS openning.while our politions and bankers and unionists kept telling us about the strength of the British economy.Like watching the financial muppet show or a train wreck in slow motion.

How do I keep so optimistic? Simple , I know human nature. These conspirators are power hungry and they ALL want power. They will not stand politely in line and they will backstab each other and jump over thiers bodies to move up the queue. If there is one conspiracy going on , there are probably more , and they probably bump into each other .These delusional megalomaniacs are vain and have delusions of grandiour, as such they overestimate thier abilities , importance and power. The pyramid power structure that they love so much, just produces nonsense results, because TRUE COMMUNICATION is only possible bewteen EQUALS. When you talk down to someone , or up to some one you prevert the truth to make you look better. By the time the info has reached the top of the pyramid, its bears NO RESEMBLANCE to reality. Thats way after 2,000 years and counting they still have NOT manged to impose world slavery and a New World Order. Its nothing to do with the vigilance of the common man , its to do with the incompitance of the elitest man.

I may have seen you on the news I watched something about it. You’ll have to post the film on your Youtube channel. I know some Dutch people, quite e few have holiday houses down here. To a man they are solid with the guy who was shot. Can’t remeber his name, Van Goch maybe; And the right winger who killed. I have a bit of a problem understanding them sometimes. But they totally oppose immigration. The all voted against Lisbon and they are all pissed off. Whatever they think they have just voted for, will change nothing. I try to explain to the French, that they could vote National Front and nothing would change. Oh no! Couldn’t do that. Then they vote for Sarkozy, They firmly believe that he is in control. When you tell them he can’t even control his wife, who is sleeping with some child singer, they just shrug. I didn’t know you were living in Holland, I thought you were somewhere in the Gorbals. Hi old mate, I’ll see if I can find a bit of coverage with me on it. I’ve actually appeared on TV in many different countries for a variety of reasons. UK , Dutch , Scandic and Australian TV stations have footage of me at work and those are just the ones I know. The man who was shot was Pim Fortyn , a gay rightwing millionaire , the man that has taken his place is Geert Wilders another zenophobe. As for Theo Van Goch ,my youngest daughter was best friends and sat beside Levre Van Goch (Theo’s son)at school. She was probably one of the last to see him alive. I remember the mad rush to get back to school when I got a call to say there was a murderer running around school!!! It was the young secular Arabs that stopped a race war in Holland! The next day swarms of them where outside mosques handing out orange t-shirts with F*CK FUNDAMENTALISM on them. Truelly an inspiration to us all.
The Dutch have a reputation for arrogence ,they could even give the French a few lessons 😉 . They used to have good reason, as they where the freest and least oppressive country in Europe during the 80’s. Today they have transformed into one of the most oppressive ,Berlin and Barcelona and Prague are more free today than the infamous Amsterdam and countries like Portugal and Spain and the Czech Republic and maybe even Germany are more liberal countries. BUT for some reason the Dutch still walk around arrogantly , just with no reason today.
I actully shuttle between Holland and Scotland a lot these days,I used to live in Australia but my old dear is not as young as she used to be ,so I officially reside in Holland , until I can register as a Scottish company rather than a UK one. But I do a lot of contract work outside the UK and Holland. Officially I’m a Western Highlander (Chochter) with an Edinburgh education, managed to avoid Glasgow completely 😉
and yet again I totally agree , if voting could change anything they would ban it!!!
